Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Chef de Bar to lead our beverage program and deliver exceptional cocktail experiences to our guests. The Chef de Bar will be responsible for crafting innovative cocktails, curating our beverage menu, and ensuring the highest standards of beverage service.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative and seasonal cocktail menus that complement our cuisine and appeal to our guests
Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink
Maintain inventory of bar supplies and ingredients, and place orders as needed
Train and mentor bar staff to ensure proper cocktail preparation and service standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop cocktail pairings for special events and tasting menus
Monitor bar revenue and expenses, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize profitability
Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our beverage program
Requirements:
Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or bar
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as wine, beer, and spirits
Creative flair and passion for mixology, with a focus on quality and presentation
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team
Proven track record of managing inventory, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
German and English language proficiency preferred
